Cameras are connected but not showing in system display or menu. Can not activate cameras. This is more common than you might think. It’s caused by a very often overlooked critical step in the installation process. Assuming the cameras and camera harness is already wired and plugged into place, you’ll need to enable the camera/s in the advance menu of the DEA601 display. In order to do this, you’ll need to press and hold the HOME + SUN button on the radio head unit for 5 secs. This will cause the Advanced Menu to populate on the display. Swipe up so until you see the camera options. Swipe the installed cameras to the ON position. Once you’re done, swipe up and click on reboot.
